Deal status — last updated September 15, 2026
Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. When real deals on the gear we recommend go live in November, we'll post them on this page, checked against live prices, with the date we checked. Until then, every price on this page is an ordinary live Amazon price — not a Black Friday price.
The short answer: in past Novembers, the biggest pickleball discounts have landed on brand-name paddles, court shoes, premium nets and ball machines. The things that have given you the least reason to wait are balls and small accessories, which are inexpensive and move in price throughout the year. If the gift is for someone who wants to start playing now, a few weeks of play is usually worth more than a discount.
This page is built to be useful today and to get more useful in November. Below you'll find what we found in dated deal coverage from the 2024 and 2025 seasons, product class by product class; our call on whether to buy now or wait; how to tell a real deal from a dressed-up one; and our current top picks with live prices. Every historical claim is dated and sourced at the bottom of the page. We don't forecast prices or percentages, because nobody outside the brands knows them yet.

03The buyer's guide
What has historically gone on sale, and what hasn't
Paddles: brand sales are real, but the newest paddles get the smallest cuts
Brand-direct Black Friday sales on paddles were widespread in November 2025. JOOLA, CRBN, Six Zero, Vatic Pro, Proton, Gearbox, Franklin, HEAD and Selkirk all appear in dated 2025 deal roundups from The Kitchen Pickle, The Dink, Pickleheads and Pickleball.com. They were mostly selected models, promo codes and fixed date windows rather than one flat sitewide discount, and several started before Black Friday week and ran into December.
The pattern worth knowing: at three brands, the newest paddle line took a smaller cut than the older ones. JOOLA's Pro IV paddles, launched in March 2025 and still its current line that November, came down by about 18%, while its Agassi/Graf four-player set was cut by more than half. CRBN's newest Genesis paddle took a smaller discount than its older X-Series and Classic lines. Gearbox gave its limited-edition GX2 Power 10% with a code, against a much larger cut on the GX2 Original. So if the paddle someone wants is last year's model, November has historically been a good time to buy it; if it is the brand-new release, expect a smaller saving.
Budget paddles on Amazon behave differently. Keepa's 365-day Amazon price chart for the JOOLA GRAF Edge — our top pick under $50 — shows that its Black Friday week 2025 price was about as low as it went all year — but a similar low came round again in early January 2026, and it showed no dip at all during October 2025's Prime Big Deal Days. Its price moved up and down repeatedly across the year, and its identically specced twin, the Agassi Edge, followed the same pattern through that holiday season. The lesson is to watch the live price rather than the calendar.
Court shoes: some of the deepest discounts
In 2025 coverage, court shoes were among the most heavily discounted pickleball gear. The Dink listed K-Swiss, HEAD, ASICS and Adidas court shoes discounted at a racquet-sports retailer, two of them by more than a third. Pickleball.com listed K-Swiss and Skechers at 20% off, and TrackitHub logged a K-Swiss women's pickleball shoe at 42% off on Amazon during Black Friday week. If you know the size, shoes have historically been worth waiting for. The catch is obvious but real: a discount only helps if their size is still available.
Balls: rarely worth waiting for
Balls do get discounted — Pickleheads listed a Cyber Monday code on Vulcan balls in 2025, and a Selkirk ball discounted during October's Prime Big Deal Days. But for the best-selling balls, November doesn't obviously matter. Slickdeals threads show a 12-pack of Franklin X-40s at a Black Friday weekend price in December 2024 that was matched again in March 2025, and beaten in a different color in February 2025. Balls are a consumable; buy them when they're needed.
Bags: premium bags discount, budget bags barely need to
2025 roundups list Black Friday discounts on premium bags from brands including CRBN and FORWRD, and in 2024 Team Pickleball ran a November-to-December discount on its backpack. We found no documented Black Friday pattern for budget Amazon bags. Our call: if you're buying a premium bag, it is worth checking in November; for a budget bag, the potential saving is small.
Nets and ball machines: the largest dollar discounts
The biggest dollar discounts we found were on big-ticket gear. In 2025, Pickleball.com listed Titan and Lobster ball machines with money off, The Kitchen Pickle listed ERNE machine bundles, and Pickleheads listed JOOLA's Pro Net discounted through Cyber Monday. Pickleball.com listed Dominator nets at 20% off, and TrackitHub logged a Franklin portable net at 20% off on Amazon. If you are spending a lot, November has historically been the time to do it — and our premium gift guide covers who these are actually right for.
Starter sets, grips, eyewear and braces
JOOLA cut its multi-player paddle bundles in 2025. For budget two-paddle starter sets, overgrips, eyewear and elbow braces, we found no documented Black Friday pattern, and all of them are inexpensive to begin with. Buy them when they're needed — or see our gifts under $50 for the ones worth giving.
How to tell a real deal from a dressed-up one
Treat the strikethrough price with caution. Where Amazon reports a list price, our buy buttons show it crossed out with a percentage. That figure comes from Amazon, and we display it as reported; it is not our judgment that the price is a bargain. A free price-history tracker such as Keepa or camelcamelcamel will show you what an item has actually sold for over the past year, which is the only honest comparison.
Be wary of October price rises. Kiwi Labs, a paddle brand, warns in its own Black Friday buying advice that some retailers raise prices in October so November discounts look larger, and that some sellers don't accept returns on sale items or charge restocking fees. That is one brand's warning rather than a measured trend, but it costs nothing to check a price history before you buy.
Check our date stamp. Every price on this site is pulled from Amazon and stamped with the date we checked it, and if our data is more than 48 hours old, the number disappears. During sale weeks, prices can change faster than any site refreshes, so the price at Amazon's checkout is always the one that counts.
Buy the right thing first, the cheap thing second. A discounted paddle that doesn't suit the player is not a deal. Start with our beginner paddle roundup or the gift guides, then look for the price.
Make it easy to return
Amazon lets you send a gift receipt at checkout. A recipient who returns a gift is refunded as Amazon gift card credit, and there is no direct swap: they return it and place a new order, which is exactly what happens with a wrong shoe size. Most items can normally be returned within 30 days of delivery. For the 2025 holiday season Amazon extended that, so most items bought between November 1 and December 31 could be returned until January 31, 2026. Amazon had not published a 2026 version when we checked in September 2026, so confirm the window on the order page before you rely on it.
